Saturday night Canada was closed. Basically.
The Tragically Hip (“The Hip”), a well known Canadian band, held the final concert of their final tour in their hometown. Music Monday

After watching Pitch Perfect for probably the 100th time with my 14 year old I finally decided to introduce him to The Breakfast Club movie. Of course some of the concept was a bit hard for him to get since cliques like that aren’t part of his school experience.  These days it seems like many schools have freaks, geeks and prom queens all being friends with each other. A scene right out of the twilight zone for us 80s & 90s teens.

Today’s Music Monday choice is, of course, Don’t You Forget About Me set to scenes from The Breakfast Club!

I forgot how much I adored the “Brat Pack” I see more of their movies in the near future.

You can get Pitch Perfect 1 & 2 in a double pack on Amazon.ca & Amazon.com
You can also get The Breakfast Club on Amazon.ca & Amazon.com also check out this amazing compilation of John Hughes movies (available in both Canada & US)

I watched Friends religiously when I was younger. I fell in love with all the characters (though I always had the softest spot for Chandler!) The show is everything I remember, and move!
