Hello July

I know it’s mid July, and usually I do this at the start of the month, but life has been busy.
The kids are out of school for the summer, and I managed to move my blog to a self hosted site, which has taken time (but so worth it, if you’ve been wondering)
I haven’t done a “currently” post in a while, what better way than to break open the new blog?

Reading The Constant Princess  (Philippa Gregory) The Constant Princess is the first book in the Tudour Court Series . In The Constant Princess we’re introduced to Katherine of Aragon, and her life leading up to her days as Henry VIII’s first wife. I really enjoy Philippa Gregory’s “The Other Boylen Girl” and am looking forward to this story.

Obsessed: Can we talk about the amazing “mixers” from Tic Tac? Because they’re yummy!  They start off as one flavour and then bam you’re hit with a second flavour. I really like the cherry cola one, but the peach lemonade one is pretty great too.

EnjoyingHaving central air. It’s hot as heck outside lately!

Watching:  Late last month I jumped on the Orange Is The New Black train & I have been asking myself why it took so long since! Of course I binge watched all four seasons and now I have to wait forever for Netflix to put out the next season. I might try to get the book that the series is based off of in the meantime.  Next  Netflix binge watch? I have no idea. I’m torn between Wentworth & Call The Midwife.  For now I’m going to catch up on Colony, Underground & Containment between watching episodes of Zoo and Aquarius.

Listening To: Unwritten (Natasha Bedingfield)
There’s something beautifully deep about this song, it really hits me hard every time it comes on.

“We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, But I can’t live that way”

“Today is where your book begins. The rest is still unwritten”

    1. I don’t know why it took me so long to start the Tudor series! Honestly, I read The Other Boylen Girl forever ago (before the movie came out) and totally forgot there were more in the series until I saw this one at our local Goodwill.
I think I’ll be on the search for the rest in the near future!
