Snapchat

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed that I recently became a bit obsessed with snapchat. I know, I’m totally late to the game, but I thought snap chat was some teen thing. I made an account last summer, and never really used it. To be honest I didn’t ‘get’ it. So my sister in law finally showed me some things and now I’m really having fun with it, even though I don’t usually like taking selfies. My kids enjoy it too, especially the filters.

Kid President

I know it’s an old video, but I only just found it, and it is worth sharing.

Bunmi Laditan

Bunmi is the creator of Honest Toddler and Toddlers are A-holes (find them both on Amazon *link for reference, I’m not getting paid if you click) I love her facebook page. It’s full of real, imperfect, raw parenting posts. Last night’s post really hit home. I also have anxiety so I can totally relate, though I think most of us can relate to just needing a moment to ourselves where we can eat our soup or drink our tea or whatever. Yesterday was a rough day for me too, so reading about someone else going through it made me feel not so alone in my struggle. If you are looking for a new page to follow on Facebook I suggest you check out hers.

Game Of Silence

Game Of Silence is a story about a group of childhood friends who end up in a detention center for nine months. They’re brought together after a tragedy 25 years later and try to right the wrongs of the past which also may lead them on a path to revenge.

Honestly, I wasn’t sure if I’d like this show when I first saw the trailer, but I was hooked watching the pilot. The second episode just solidified it. I can’t wait to dive more into the story!

Just Like Fire

I woke up to a an email from Pink’s newsletter today with the news that she released a new song! I kind of adore her, so of course I rushed to listen to it, and just like almost all her other songs, it’s amazing!
